“My momma would come in with me, and she would sit in the rocking chair and hold the babies. There was one particular little boy that she held all the time. When momma died, I got the nicest card from the momma of that little boy. It talked about how it just touched her heart when she would come pick up her little boy and my momma would be rocking him. It was just a special moment for me. That card touched my heart. Now that little boy is pretty big and has moved on to a different class, but I pass him in the hallway sometimes and they smile at me. It’s a good feeling. It’s a really good feeling.”
